Start-ups working on the transition to sustainable aviation can still apply for a Venture Booster knowledge voucher. The application period opened on 2 April and runs until 1 December 2026 at 17:00.
The voucher covers up to 50 per cent of the cost of hiring an external expert, with a maximum of € 20.000. It is part of the Dutch temporary subsidy scheme Luchtvaart in Transitie (LiT), which the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) runs on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
What the voucher is for
The voucher helps start-ups turn their product ideas into commercial success. With it, a start-up can bring in an expert to help it attract financing or assess how well its product meets the needs of a specific market. The knowledge question must fall under one of four topics: investor readiness, intellectual property advice, market validation or founder coaching. The expert can be a knowledge institution, a private organisation or an independent professional. The work must be strategic and advisory in nature, so a standard consultancy contract for operational work does not qualify.
Who can apply
The voucher is intended for start-ups whose activities demonstrably contribute to the transition to sustainable aviation.
Applications close on 1 December
Start-ups considering an application have until 1 December 2026 at 17:00 to submit it. The full conditions and the application portal are available on the RVO website: https://www.rvo.nl/subsidies-financiering/luchtvaart-transitie/booster-kennisvouchers
