Aerospace Innovation Hub DEMOday
On Thursday 1 October, the Aerospace Innovation Hub at TU Delft holds the third edition of DEMOday, its annual celebration of entrepreneurship and technology.
The day brings together startups, student teams, researchers, companies, investors and policymakers to explore the future of aerospace, and it features in this year’s NL Space Week programme. Last year’s edition drew 25 startups and scale-ups and more than 300 visitors, with ventures ranging from sustainable aviation and smart MRO to space, drones and dual-use technology.
The programme opens with sessions on dual-use aerospace and on the support available from RVO, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. It continues with pitches by founders, an Innovation Floor where startups show their work, and speed dates. The full timetable is on the registration page. Partners of the 2026 edition include Venture Lab, YES!Delft, RVO and Materialise.
New this year is a programme built around investors. Venture Lab, part of AeroNL, has set it up together with Aerospace Innovation Hub, YES!Delft, InnovationQuarter and Delft Enterprises. It works in two directions: sessions that strengthen the investment readiness of founders, and prepared speed dates that put startups and investors at the same table. In the evening, Venture Lab hosts the Investors Dinner at the same address from 18:15 to 21:00. It is a smaller setting, in which the conversations of the afternoon have room to become concrete, and a limited number of startups join the investors at the table.
